| The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT ORIGINAL INFO. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Consumer Credit Protection Act (15 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new title: Link to educate: The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
