| Autonomy rather than Sovereignty? Sovereignty seems to be a loaded political term although some may feel that it is appropriate.
Those peoples who threw off the yolk of the British became "Sovereigns without subjects". The Supreme Court case mentioning this escapes me at this time.
Autonomy, no one should disagree with this, no?
Now granted, there are those forces out there that would rather you waive your autonomy by granting them your power of attorney or enter into contracts without full, informed disclosure.
Autonomy is a personal responsibility and an inalienable right. |
